This Chocolate Peppermint Parfait recipe is SO easy to make and really delish!
Chocolate Peppermint Parfait
During the holidays, I love making desserts that look both festive and enticing. AND I also love making desserts that are quick and easy so I can spend less time in the kitchen and more time with my family. We all love chocolate, and so I came up with this simple recipe that tastes like there’s nothing simple about it. My secret? I started with delicious Marie Callender’s Chocolate Satin Pies and added a few special touches to dress it up! Only three ingredients and about five minutes are needed to make this luscious dessert.
Ingredients
Marie Callender’s Chocolate Satin Pies (they come 2 per box and you’ll need 1 pie per person)
Candy Canes
Amaretto (optional, but it’s so good with it!)
Instructions
Thaw the pies according to the package. Place candy canes in a plastic bag and coarsely crush with a kitchen mallet.
Pour 1 1/2 teaspoons of Amaretto in the bottom of each parfait bowl or a glass. Next place one pie in each bowl, and then sprinkle with crushed peppermint.
To complete the presentation, I made festive little banners. You can download the printable file here.
I simply attached the banners to party picks and then placed one on each parfait.
Marie Callender’s Chocolate Satin Pies made my Chocolate Peppermint Parfait so easy and fun to make!

Nice creation, Andrea. You’ve taken simple products that we can easily have on hand, and turned them into something delectable. Peppermint and chocolate goes together so well! Cheers & Happy Holidays.
Thank you, Doreen! Cheers to you, too!

Yep more time with family and less time in the kitchen is a good thing right now. Someday I hope my family will want to join me in the kitchen, but they are too small for that right now so easy is best!
Snap your fingers and that’s how long it will be till they are all grown!
That sounds and looks delicious! I have two left hand, so do you also send them? 😉
oooooooooooh these parfaits look so decadent and delicious and perfect for the holidays/entertaining!
