Fall Tablescape for Two… What better way to usher in the cooler evenings of the Fall than a romantic dinner for two on the patio? This is part of the joys of empty nest life!
I am happiest when I’m creating. And pulling together a tablescape is like creating a piece of art for me. Oh, the simple joys of life!
The summer flowers are still hanging in there. I picked a few roses and zinnias and placed in mason jars for my fall table.
Butterflies don’t scream fall, but I couldn’t resist them since they are gold on white. I used the cute DIY napkin rings my daughter-in-law Shandi and I made for my Thanksgiving Table last year. See how we made them here!
And for the centerpiece, I pulled out my DIY stenciled leaf runner from last fall. Get the tutorial here!
And I adore finding a reason to use my sterling silver that was my great grandmother’s!
And of course my miniature salt and pepper shakers! (Honestly, I’m such a geek for this stuff!)
Now I’m off to make a yummy dinner for two to celebrate this glorious fall day! Hope you’ve enjoyed yours as well.
xoxo,
