You know the kind of day I’m referring to. You wake up and just feel “off,” or blue. Or it might be a day that starts out extremely ordinary, but a sequence of events changes everything. It’s so easy to lose perspective on those difficult days. I’m a praying kind of woman, but prayer sometimes doesn’t come naturally in the midst of difficulties. I’m more likely to stew over my circumstances or try to fix the “un-fixable” on my own. I’ve found that focusing on God’s guidance is the best way to deal with difficulty. And His guidance is available to me anytime, anywhere! It’s His word, the bible.
Here are some of my favorite encouraging words of guidance from the giver of all peace…
Remember that I commanded you to be strong and brave. Don’t be afraid, because the Lord your God will be with you everywhere you go. —Joshua 1:9
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. —Romans 8:28
My body and my mind may become weak, but God is my strength. He is mine forever.
—Psalm 73:26
And he will be the source of peace… —Micah 5:5
Be joyful because you have hope. Be patient when trouble comes, and pray at all times.
—Romans 12:12
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all. —2 Thessalonians 3:16
Call to me in times of trouble. I will save you, and you will honor me. —Psalm 50:15
Are you troubled today? If so, I hope those words of encouragement speak to your heart. I hope they’ll remind you that the Lord loves you more than you can possibly imagine. That He’s with you through all circumstances, and He offers comfort and peace.

Oh, Andrea, I so LOVE reading God’s Word! Thank you for the encouragement today.
At the Dr’s today, I saw the President’s eulogy for the Pastor of the NC church, where 9 were killed. God has to be our comfort, so much is troubling today. Then, there was the Supreme Court ruling, which troubled me greatly too.
God is always there for us. All we have to do is call out for Him.
Keep on proclaiming God’s Word!
Love, Melinda
