My number one resolution in 2015 is to get fit and, in the process, lose 10 pounds before Trevor and Rachel’s wedding in May. Yes, it’s a lofty goal, but I’ve done it before! Starting Monday, exercise will once again become my best friend. Along with lean protein, veggies and lots of salads. Bread? Pasta? Sugar? The enemy. So… what’s my game plan? In addition to exercising five-six days a week, I’ll be back to super healthy eating habits. Which means small, healthy meals and nutritious snacking throughout the day. Protein to keep me full. Healthy carbs for energy. Whole foods full of vitamins and antioxidants. Yup… I know the drill!
Today I want to share my favorite mid-morning, 150-calorie snack hack: the Peach Mango Green Smoothie. It’s SO simple and yummy! It starts with thick, creamy, and nutritious Yoplait Greek 100.
Not only does Yoplait Greek 100 provide my body the protein it needs at snack time (one container boasts 10 grams!), but it also introduces very important and healthy bacteria to my intestinal system. In addition, it contains 0% fat and is available in 20+ flavors.
I’ve known yogurt is healthy for many years, but I recently researched why Greek yogurt is so nutritious. Here’s the scoop: unlike regular yogurt, Greek yogurt has been strained to remove the whey. As a result, Greek yogurt has a thicker and creamier texture. The removal of whey also results in a yogurt with much less sugar and sodium while packing more than twice the amount of protein than regular yogurt. After learning those facts, I became a huge fan!
Peach Mango Green Smoothie Ingredients
1 container Peach Yoplait 100 Greek Yogurt (5.3 ounces)
1/2 cup kale
1/4 cup frozen mango chunks
1/2 cup water
Directions
Simply blend all ingredients in a Nutribullet or blender. Pour and enjoy!
If you’ve never tried a green smoothie, do not be intimidated! You really won’t taste the kale. I promise!

This sounds good. Do you actually taste the kale though? And is it healthy, or just so-so?
Yum! Love homemade smoothies! I love to put yogurt in mine, too, for a little extra protein and flavor.
