So you may have noticed that you haven’t seen many posts from Tabler Party of Two during the month of May. There’s a very good reason! My handsome, youngest son, Trevor, married the girl of his dreams, Rachel, this past Sunday. I was blessed beyond words to coordinate this event with Rachel, and things got pretty crazy the last three weeks! Both she and I got very little sleep and our heads were spinning most of the time. Would I do it all over again despite the long hours and stress? IN A HEARTBEAT!
In the coming weeks, I will be sharing some of the DIY touches that made this wedding unique to Rachel and Trevor. I’ll also share the absolutely crazy story of our rehearsal dinner that almost didn’t happen because of the unprecedented Texas weather last weekend. (Would you believe the bride’s father was stranded at his home surrounded by water and couldn’t even be there???) But today, I want to share a sneak peek at the festivities!
I will be telling you much more about this amazing venue in the days to come!
The sweet couple (without seeing each other) prayed before the wedding began!
The kiss… and Trevor offering up the Texas Tech “Guns Up” hand signal!
The Tabler family… all smiles on this amazing day!
Come back next week for lots more from our amazing wedding photographer, Lupita Martinez from Images of RainPhotography. For now, if you absolutely LOVE weddings, check out this YouTube video taken by our dear friend, Pastor Kirk Freeman. It shows the entrance of family, bridal party and sweet Rachel. This is unedited, of course, but so sweet. Notice how at the beginning, there is no sun, but at the 4 minute mark, right before Rachel appears, that all changes! The song they chose was unbelievable. There was a little glitch, but that didn’t affect this precious ceremony in the least.
See all the DIY touches that made this wedding so special here and here!

So beautiful!!! My daughter got married last summer and my son is getting married this autumn – such crazy fun!!!
Thank you so much, Susan!
Andrea, your husband and sons sure look alike! These pictures show a gorgeous wedding. I love that they prayed together before! Such a precious memory!
Yes, Melinda, they do! Thank you for your sweet words. It was, indeed, precious!
Andrea, Craig and I are so happy that the wedding was able to take place! We were watching the news and weather reports and it didn’t seem possible. We are so thrilled for all of you!
We were, too, Connie! It was quite perilous (literally!) at times! We are blessed beyond measure. 🙂
I was blessed to be at this wonderful wedding with the family I love!! Every detail was beautiful, and God honoring! I love the prayer picture and the servant-leader act (no spoiler in case Andrea tells you later) Trevor performed for Rachel! My son Trent said it was one of the most fun weddings he has been to. Andrea you truly put your heart into all the preparations and they saw how much you love them! You too Tom;)
Love, Love, Love you!
Thank you, my dear sis-in-law! I’m SOOOOOOO grateful for everything you and Ben did to help us! Couldn’t have all happened without you both! And, of course, time with the Erps family was precious to us. Love, love, love you all!!!!
Beautiful blessings upon them.
Thank you so much, Minnie!
These are such beautiful photos. Your sons look like twins…and there is a striking resemblance to your husband. I enjoyed the photos and hope to get a chance to see your follow up posts.
What a beautiful setting for a lovely wedding day. The pictures are just amazing too. Looking forward to reading all about the wedding festivities!
What lovely photos of what looks like a beautiful wedding! Congrats to Trevor, Rachel and your families!
It looked like a lovely wedding Andrea, and I love the color of your dress too!! Perfect for a Summer wedding. I looked at the video and was wondering what the bridesmaids were carrying? Looked like a purse and it seemed like some lettering was flashing.
Congratulations! Our daughter got married last year and what fun it was to plan!
Thank you so much, Doreen!
