About a month ago, I wrote about my six-month blog-i-versary. I shared, “Within the next few days, I’ll be posting about what God has specifically put on my heart for the future of Tabler Party of Two. He is the author of all my creative endeavors, and I’m so excited for the ideas He has recently given me. I can’t wait to share them with you… so stay tuned!” Well, this follow up ended up being a whole month and a few days. But who’s counting?
The reason for the delay is that I’ve been taking time to pray about what’s next. I knew the general idea, but I wanted to be sure about the execution and the timing. I now feel a peace about where to go and how. I’m very excited and thrilled to announce that in addition to my current topics, I will now also be writing stories with tips and encouragement for other bloggers and social media marketers.
The reason this thrills me is that marketing is near and dear to my heart. In fact it is how I’ve spent my entire career! For over 25 years, my company, Tabler Marketing Group, has worked with hundreds of clients, from small businesses to large corporations. I’ve provided consulting, graphic design, copy writing, web design, advertising and more. My background has been incredibly helpful as I’ve navigated this world of blogging and social media. But quite frankly, social media and blogging are different than traditional advertising and marketing, and I’ve had to immerse myself with information as I’ve found my way in this new medium. And when I say “immerse,” I’m being quite literal. I’ve joined webinars, read dozens of books, subscribed to newsletters and read everything I could get my hands on. In addition, I’ve listened to countless hours of podcasts by my favorite experts in the field. When I work, when I walk, when I grocery shop, when I drive. You name it, and I’m probably listening to an expert on blogging and social media. There is still a lot to learn. And there always will be due to the ever-changing nature of the social media driven world. I find that exciting!
So, you aren’t a blogger or a social media marketer? That’s okay! I’ll still be sharing my favorite recipes, crafts, style ideas, faith stories and empty nest adventures. If you aren’t interested in blogging and SM tips, just skip those stories. If you know someone who IS interested, even if you aren’t, then pass it along!
For those of you who DO desire to continually grow your following and learn creative and effective ways to reach new readers, you can come here to learn about what’s new in the blogosphere and social media world. I will post both original and curated content that will be easy to read and simple to understand and execute. If you want to hear about any topics in specific, please let me know in the comments below!
I want to thank you for being a follower of Tabler Party of Two. Your encouragement and support means the world to me!

i think this is such a wonderful thing you are going to do Andrea…..i know how this has been your passon for your whole adult life. I remember a conversation with you about your company and how much you loved what you did!
You told me that you were so in love with your work that even if you were not being paid for your efforts, that you would still do it any way. When you said that to me you made me feel like the most successful mom on earth!
My chief goals for my children included. that whatever you chose
to do in your adult life it would be your passion! All three of you love your work and it is the passion for each of you…..that really has made my life as a mom complete…of course all the other things are important to….being good loving parents, having loving mates and beautiful children of your own….your mom is very happy and tremendously proud of each of you.
That’s exciting news! Blogging and marketing tips are my favorite things to read about! I look forward to your changes!
I LOVE what your mother said Andrea! That is all so true! Congrats on your growth and I/we look forward to being a part of your journey. Your bravery and curiosity is inspiring!
